Dealing with a 4yo kid!
Today i went to teach a 4 yo boy for the first time. I prepared some dinosour parts/ colouring. He couldnt stay still..😢It was pretty challanging to teach him new words... it was bettet than i expected tho.. i was so glad it was a 40 min class! How can i be better at teaching kids? Today i used a being-friendly strategy, not sure if it worked. I wanna be in control in my class. This is def going to be a new challnege teaching an early childhood kid..!! I wanna learn and be good at it! I had 떡볶이 and chocolates after the class, i was stressed.
Things to remember
1. Timeouts
2. Verbal repirmand : reprimand the behavioir/ not the kid.
3. Keep a positive emotional tone
4. Keep a regular schedule : need to create a routine **
